The above is one of the main role of the pastorate. The Senior Pastor in performing this role is being assisted by the assisting pastors in the way the Senior Pastor delegates.
The pastorate apart from performing the counciling role also engage in visitations as to parishners either at home, on a hospital bed, prison or any other situation.
The desire or decision to visit any body is however the pastors’ own prerogative.
This service is mainly to their parishners, however the pastorate has the freedom in extending this compassionate service to any body that he/she is a parishioner or not.
Just as a shepherd cares for his flock, the pastors attempt to care for their parishioners.
Never hesitate to bring an issue to the knowledge of the Senior Pastor, for you will be in safe hands in doing that.
